Tyler Whitlock is a self-taught artist from Abingdon, VA. Drawing on influences ranging from the Old Masters to modern forms of digital and street art, his patented “glitch collage” style presents a storyboard of distorted imagery in an effort to challenge the viewer’s perspective on both a visual and emotional level. His work regularly comments on sociopolitical issues and addresses topics of power, hypocrisy, and the human condition.
